Our Forest School Level 3 training course will enable you to develop and deliver a Forest School Programme for any age group. This LASER accredited LASER level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders RQF is a nationally recognised, in depth training course. Training Days:  Wednesdays 17th, 31st Oct, 7th, 14th, 21st Nov 2018 Portfolio Days:  Wednesdays 19th Dec, 16th Jan, 24th Apr 2019 Skills Days:  Saturdays 16th Feb & 23rd Mar 2019 Forest School is an inspirational process that offers children, young people and adults of all abilities regular opportunities to gain confidence and raise self-worth through a series of hands-on learning experiences in school grounds and local woodlands. Comprising an exciting combination of practical outdoor skills and child development theory our Forest School Level 3 training is taught with the ethos behind the Forest School approach to child led learning. The Forest School Level 3 course is run on Forest School principles and will prepare you to become a Forest School Leader. The Level 3 course will enable you to set up your own Forest School including delivering, planning and monitoring all aspects of a Forest School programme. All our Forest School courses are delivered on our beautiful woodland reserves in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight by our qualified, professional staff. This course will take place at Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve situated between Southampton and Fareham in Hampshire.

This QNUK Level 3 Award in Forest School First Aid (RQF) course is suitable for Forest School leaders who may currently need to undertake up to 3 First Aid qualifications to meet requirements. This qualification ensures they can meet those same requirements simply by completing one qualification. Available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent. Some pre-course work may be required. This qualification will also include Paediatric First Aid suitable for working with under 5 year olds.

This two day LASER accredited course is written for those working with participants at Forest School sessions and especially people who enjoy the outdoors who would like to develop their skills and become an effective team member of a Forest School.

No previous knowledge of Forest School is required this two day course. Our Forest School training includes the Forest School approach to learning and development, introduction to tool safety and use and basic practical skills to help manage and understand your Forest School woodland setting. It is taught through outdoor activities and group discussion with a short workbook to be completed.

Our Forest School training is run with the Forest School ethos, of support and development, so you can fully experience Forest School for yourself.
