About Rachel Hudson
Rachel’s distinctive illustrations capture a fleeting moment with nature. Her aim is to share a little of the delight she feels in seeing something special and helping people to connect with the wildlife and wild places where they live. And what a wonderful county to get to know: Hampshire is so varied with its chalk downland and streams, ancient woodlands and coastal marshes, there is always something interesting to spot.

Rachel is based in Four Marks, East Hampshire where she works from her home studio as a freelance wildlife illustrator and writer. She works with several of the UK’s leading conservation organisations, including The Wildlife Trusts, RSPB and BirdLife International. Her work appears on interpretation panels and nature trails, in education materials and in online campaigns.
