You will learn water vole surveying, health and safety and how to complete the survey forms before spending the rest of the session outdoors on Winnall Moors where you will experience a real water vole survey and put your new skills into practice.   • An overview of water vole ecology.
  • An understanding of the threats to these species.
  • An understanding of and some practical experience in using the techniques involved in surveying for water voles.
