Yukon Ranger RT 6.5 x 42 Night Vision Scope
Yukon Ranger RT 6.5 x 42 Night Vision Scope
The Ranger RT includes all of the features of the excellent Ranger LT model, but with some exciting new additions. These include 2x digital zoom which provides magnification of up to 13x and Stream Vision technology which allows video recording and remote control via your Smartphone. The Ranger RT is perfect for watching nocturnal animals and is ideal for monitoring bat roosts. The powerful optics and sensitive CMOS sensor provide a high quality image with a magnification of between 6.5x and 13x. Two built-in illuminators help to improve visibility in very low light situations and comprise a short range, covert 940nm IR along with a more powerful long range illuminator. A built-in video recorder allows you to capture image and video content (with sound) which is saved onto the internal memory. This can be transferred to a PC or laptop either using the included microUSB cable or wirelessly via WiFi. This feature is extremely useful if photographic evidence is required for your survey. The highlight of the Ranger RT is the ability to link your scope with an iOS or Android based mobile using the free Stream Vision app. This software enables you to view footage on your device in real time, to operate the monocular using your phone and to stream the footage from your Ranger directly to Youtube. Powered by six AA batteries (not included) which will last between 6 and 12 hours. A spare battery container is also provided so that batteries can be changed quickly and easily in the field.
